I was talking with H. K. Kiting this afternoon and we challenged each other to do some flash fiction. We set our rules as follows: Each story would be stand-alone and exactly 500 words each. That’s pretty small for a story, so it was a challenge.
We wanted to have them fit a theme, so what we came up with was a set of four stories: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water.
The first story, Earth, will appear on Monday, and the others will follow shortly thereafter. We’d love to hear from you which one you liked best. We’re kinda betting on your votes, so feedback is appreciated.
